Svitlana Shitikova
- graduate of FITUM in 1995, candidate of pedagogical sciences, teacher at GIIM in 1995-2001. Representative of a dynasty of English teachers, her mother - Lyubov Nikiforovna Volodina -also graduated from our Institute.
Currently the coordinator of the National Erasmus Office in Ukraine
Oleksiy Dubrevskyy
– a graduate of FITUM (Faculty of Foreign and Ukrainian Languages) in 2005. Leader of student self-government, scriptwriter and organizer of student festivals, meetings, etc.
Currently, he is the director of the state enterprise "Boryspil International Airport"
Olena Mosiets
– Graduated from the Faculty of Humanities in 1998 with a degree in Russian language and literature, French language and in 2011 with a degree in history. Head teacher, director of schools in the city of Myrnograd, Donetsk region. In 2020, she was awarded the Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Currently, she is the founder and head of the Mudryk Early Development Center in Kropyvnytskyi.
Vladyslav Shtegelsky
– studied at the institute from 2012 to 2014. With the beginning of the armed conflict in Eastern Ukraine, he transferred to study at Sumy State Pedagogical University.
History teacher in Myrnograd, history teacher at the Educator Lyceum (Kyiv), author, host of the program "Neistfak" on Espreso.tv. In 2021, he was included in the list of TOP-50 best teachers in Ukraine.
Currently, he is one of the initiators and organizers of the MentorMe project, prepared by a team of Ukrainian educators as a component of the practical training of future teachers.
Arkady Petrosyan
- Graduate of the Master's degree from the Faculty of Social and Language Communication in 2022. Active participant in student self-government, public figure.
Currently, he is the founder and chairman of the Association of Young IDPs.
Poyda Oleksandr
– graduate of 2000, director of Bakhmut comprehensive school of I-III levels No. 18 named after Dmytro Chernyavsky, teacher of English and Ukrainian language and literature of the highest category, winner of the International Competition “Pedagogical Start – 2012”, trainer of the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the British Council of Teachers “Agents of Change”, as well as a trainer of the project on learning English for children in summer health camps in Ukraine GoCamp
Golubtsova Olena
– a graduate of 2019, works as a teacher of Ukrainian language and literature at the private school “MudrAngeliki”. Olena Oleksandrivna is a talented poetess, her creative output is constantly replenished with new poems, which she publishes under the pseudonym Popil-Ptashka
Ivanova Olga
– graduated in 2007 with a degree in English, Russian and German languages and literature. She continued her studies at universities in Germany and England. She worked at Deloitte Consulting as a consultant in data analysis and visual analytics. Currently, she is a project manager at Nexontis Consulting.
Osadcha Yana
– graduated from the Faculty of German in 1996. Currently works at the Goethe Institute (Munich) as a specialist in the implementation of the “Schulwärts!” project. Made a significant contribution to providing the GIIM library with textbooks and literature in German
Larisa Bobrova
- Graduated from the Faculty of English in 1991, Candidate of Philological Sciences (2000); PhD in Applied Linguistics, 2013 (Pennsylvania State University, USA).
Currently: Associate Professor of English (University of Miami); Founding Coordinator of the Center for English Writing; Director of the Linguistics Program at the University of Miami (Oxford, Ohio).
Winner of the GilWatzAward for Outstanding Graduate Student in Applied Linguistics, Center for Language Acquisition, Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pennsylvania, Spring, 2013.
Svitlana Alekseevna Shvachko
— graduated from the Horlivka State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages in 1956.
Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of German Philology of Sumy State University.
Oksana Pysareva (Onishchuk)
– FITUM graduate in 2006. Active participant in student self-government, public figure.
From 2006 to 2018, she worked as a teacher at the State Institute of International Relations, a candidate of philological sciences, and the author of several literary works. Currently, she is the leading psychologist of the Children's Voices Charitable Foundation.

Arkhipova (Borisova) Natalia
Graduated in 2009 (specialist qualification; translation, English and French), Faculty of Translation.
Teacher of 5 foreign languages at the LEVEL Foreign Language School (Gliwice, Poland).
"I don't organize any community activities, but I can't ignore the charity events held in our town: from baking cakes for charity sales to sewing underwear in a workshop for a children's hospital."
"My life motto is “Only forward!”, so on the occasion of its 75th anniversary, I wish my native institute to move forward and develop; even in such difficult times, to continue to inspire students, proving that everything is possible, and expanding their horizons and worldview. Lukyanchuk (Kapshuk) Nadiya
2008 graduation year (OKR "specialist"; translation, English and German languages), Faculty of Translation;
2023 graduation year (Master's degree; English and French languages, foreign literature, translation), Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages.
She worked as a translator at the international organization Fasep.
English teacher at Gymnasium No. 34 in the city of Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region.
Participated in trainings from the NGO "La Strada-Ukraine" and the SWITLO project from the British Council.
Personal belief – “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”

Graduated in 2009 (specialist qualification; translation, English and French), Faculty of Translation.

Senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages and Teaching Methods of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University.
Member of the Ukrainian Translators' Association.

Derkach Yulia
Graduated in 2009 (specialist qualification; translation, English and German), Faculty of Translation.
2008–2010 – project manager and translator at the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation “Our Home – Ukraine”.
2011–2021 – manager of leading insurance companies, which were among the TOP-3 in the insurance market of Ukraine; supported large corporate clients, developed cooperation with international brokers.
2021–2022 – study and work as a computer graphics specialist; engaged in modeling and visualization of interior projects.
I am now a working mom 24/7.
“I believe that “happiness can be found even in the darkest times, if you don’t forget to turn to the light” (J.K. Rowling). I am grateful to fate that I managed to save several animals from the street, cure them and find them homes. I gave the world a new person, whom I am teaching to be kind to everyone and everything around me. I also managed to adapt in a new country, thanks to the knowledge of English that I received at my native institute. Thanks to the knowledge I gained, I learned to study and was able to master a new type of activity – 3D modeling and visualization, as well as a new foreign language. These are my small achievements.”
