On November 10, the world community celebrates World Science Day in the name of peace and development.
Holding this day was recommended in 1999 at the World Science Conference in Budapest, where the need for closer interaction between science and society was expressed. And already in 2001, UNESCO decided to officially establish the World Science Day in the name of peace and development.
The scientific community of the institute supports the initiative of joint progressive collaboration with its work. Another edition of the collection of scientific works "Edges of History" has been published. This issue is special: it was prepared based on the results of the Erasmus project "Academic Counteraction to Hybrid Threats", which was implemented for five years by colleagues of the Department of Domestic and Foreign History, Department of Psychology together with colleagues of a number of European and domestic universities. Current content, created by the joint efforts of scientists as a result of the project, consists of the training manual "Methodology of learning in conditions of hybrid threats", the glossary "Hybrid threats" and the lecture course "Hybrid threats and integrated security". The latter is proposed on the issue pages of our scientific publication.
The team of authors hopes that the published materials will help the general public not only to recognize and identify hybrid threats, but also to successfully counter them. We are sure that the publication of such studies will contribute to the struggle of society and each of us with the complex challenges of the modern world. We sincerely thank our colleagues for their active attitude in life, for targeting the socially useful result of their work!
We wish to nurture in our souls creative effort, energy, inspiration for new achievements for the benefit of peace and development!
