On November 14, 2024, philologists-translators of the Department of English Philology and Translation of the Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication of the Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages of the DVNZ DDPU held an English-language educational event for the International Students' Day - Students' Forum: Knowledge and Skills of Philologists-Translators. The topics of philological concepts and corresponding interactive tests covered the fields of linguistics, variants of the English language, language riddles, translation of idioms and grammatical structures, film translation, literary translation, translation of onomatopoeia in comics and interlingual names of international organizations by their abbreviations.
