On December 16, 2019, our institute signed a contract to implement the project of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages "Improving the quality and relevance of vocational education for the New Ukrainian School in Donetsk region", which will run from January 1, 2020 to 31.12.2021 with EU financial support. The executor of the project is the public organization "Center for the Development of Philology" of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the State Pedagogical University. The practical purpose of the project is to provide conditions for the formation of a teacher of the New Ukrainian School.

The objectives of the project are: to improve living and working conditions for students and staff (conducting the second stage of renovation of the student dormitory at 63 Tchaikovsky Street) (including interior repairs, heating, electricity, water and sewerage), improving the working conditions of administrative staff (including provision of modern IT equipment, supply of office furniture for deans' offices, educational department, accounting, personnel department, library, etc.), introduction of new digital technologies and educational materials, in particular, open source educational software, improvement of social interaction between students and local The total grant amount is 750 thousand euros.

At the ceremony, the contract was signed by Dr. Anika Weidemann, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, and Yevhenia Mykolayivna Belitska, Director of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the Donbass State Pedagogical University.

Such a significant event for our institute was shared with the staff of teachers, staff and applicants for higher education by the Secretary of the Bakhmut City Council Svitlana Ivanovna Kishchenko, Head of the Higher Education Sector of the Department of Education and Science of Donetsk Regional Administration Valentin Yevgeniyovych Tarasov, Program for the East of Ukraine ”and other guests.
