The program has a special focus on fighting disinformation and provides additional training for participants on this topic. St.scholarships from the Government of the Republic of Serbia

In accordance with the agreement on cooperation in education between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia has announced a competition for scholarships of up to 12 months , the longest - 12 months) in the 2020/2021 academic year. The Serbian side is ready to accept:

  • up to 20 students for basic higher education - bachelor's degree (180 or 240 ECTS credits) and for master's studies (60 or 120 ECTS credits) in higher education institutions.
  • up to 5 postgraduate students (180 ECTS credits).

Fulbright Academic Exchange Program
 The William Fulbright Program Office in Ukraine holds an annual competition for teachers and students to participate in academic exchange programs.

[spoiler title = "For senior students and freelance graduates"]
Fulbright Graduate Student Program: Studying at American universities from one to two years to obtain a master's degree. The competition is open to senior students and graduates of the Free Economic Zone. Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree at the time of the scholarship.
For young teachers and researchers

Fulbright Research Development Program: Conducting research in US universities lasting from six to nine months. The competition may be attended by persons under 40 years of age with two years of professional experience: teachers; graduate students and researchers who do not yet have a degree; candidates of sciences (not later than 5 years after defense); administrators of higher educational institutions; employees of research institutions; journalists; specialists in library, museum and archival affairs; specialists in the field of cultural management; employees of public organizations (NGOs).

Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program: Internship in teaching the Ukrainian language (assistance to American teachers) in US universities / colleges lasting nine months. The competition may be attended by beginning teachers and young professionals who specialize in linguistics, Ukrainian literature, translation studios, communications, journalism, American studies, teaching English. Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree at the time of the scholarship (July next year).

For candidates and doctors of sciences, researchers and specialists

Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program: Conducting research at US universities, research centers, libraries, museums, archives and the duration of three to nine months. Candidates and doctors of sciences can take part in the competition; cultural figures, librarians, journalists, lawyers, researchers without a degree - with experience of at least five years and available publications in domestic and / or foreign scientific journals.
For teachers and professionalssocio-humanitarianprofile

The Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence Program: The program is designed to promote and develop scientific and cultural collaboration in US colleges and universities that are underrepresented or have little experience in international education, by inviting professionals to teach, deepen training courses and introduce new curricula and academics. Selection of candidates for participation in the Program is the American side in accordance with the application of the educational institution.

For educational and scientific institutions of Ukraine

Fulbright Specialist Program: Invitation of specialists for a period of two to six weeks to read lectures; participation in scientific programs and conferences; advising managers and administrators on education management; conducting seminars aimed at improving the skills of Ukrainian specialists; modernization of educational programs and updating of educational materials; launching joint research projects and exchange programs.

SHORT-TERM CURRICULUM IN THE UNITED STATES FOR STUDENT LEADERS

2020 STUDY OF THE UNITED STATES INSTITUTES (SUSI) FOR STUDENT LEADERS FROM EUROPE

The US Embassy in Ukraine is pleased to announce a competition for the 2020 Study of the United States Institutes for Student Leaders. This program is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State and will cover all participant costs, including program administration, travel, housing and subsistence, as well as book, cultural, and incidental allowances. Study of the US Institutes (SUSIs) for Student Leaders from Europe are intensive short term academic programs whose purpose is to provide groups of undergraduate student leaders with a deeper understanding of the United States, while simultaneously enhancing their leadership skills. The SUSI programs for Student Leaders from Europe are five-week Institutes that consist of a balanced series of seminar discussions, readings, group presentations, and lectures. Each Institute will have up to 20 international participants and will include a four week academic residency component and a one week integrated study tour to another region of the United States. The coursework and classroom activities will be complemented by educational travel, site visits, leadership activities, and volunteer opportunities within the local community. During the academic residency, participants will also have the opportunity to engage in educational and cultural activities outside the classroom. The program will take place in early July to early August 2020.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UKRAINIAN STUDENTS AND TEACHERS TO STUDY THE CZECH LANGUAGE

Ministry of Education, Youth, Physical Education of the Czech Republic has allocated 4 scholarships for Ukrainian students and university teachers to study the Czech language. Training will take place within the Summer School Slavic Studies in the Czech Republic. All costs associated with the stay and training participants covered by the Czech side.
Summer school provides course language endurance of the moon, for all levels of knowledge of the language (from primary and above). In the selection of candidates, preference will be given to persons who are already learning the Czech language.

Call forapplications: THE PETRO JACYK PROGRAM FOR THE STUDY OF UKRAINE for the 2020-2021 academic year

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS ON FEBRUARY 15, 2020
Scholars studying Ukraine outside of Ontario are invited to apply for funding under the Peter Jacyk Program to Study Ukraine at the Center for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (CERES) at the University of Toronto in the 2020-2021 academic year. The winners will conduct research and collaborate with Canadian scientists during their stay at CERES. They will also be invited to make a report on their research, and they are expected to take part in relevant scientific activities. As a rule, visits are planned during the autumn and winter sessions of the university, ie in September and April.
In addition, each year Peter Jacyk's program - in partnership with the Holodomor Research and Education Consortium (HREC) - can support one scholar whose research concerns the Holodomor. The winners will benefit from working not only with researchers from the University of Toronto, but also with those involved in HREC projects. They will have access to the archives of the Ukrainian-Canadian Research and Documentation Center, which houses the HREC (ten minutes walk from CERES), archives containing unpublished eyewitness accounts of the Holodomor, and a large collection of Holodomor microfilms from the Central State Archives and Library. HREC is a project of the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies (University of Alberta).
Requirements for participation:
We accept applications from scientists at all stages of their careers working in the social sciences and humanities, including PhDs or PhDs. Doctoral students can also apply. We especially pay attention to the candidates whose work is related to the thematic focus of "Challenges of Independent Ukraine". The focus is on state and institutional formation in Ukraine; law and administration; problems of democratization; education, culture and identity of nations and ethnic groups in Ukraine; history and imperial past; foreign policy and international relations.
Thorough knowledge of English is important for successful participation in the program.
The invitation to the successful applicant is due to the ability of the applicants to comply with the entry requirements for Canada established by Canadian citizenship and immigration.
Successful applications are possible if participants meet the requirements for participation in the competition and the requirements are met when entering Canada, in accordance with the Citizenship and Immigration Act of Canada.
Funding:
The program covers the following costs:
the lowest fare for round-trip tickets, the maximum amount -1200 Canadian dollars;
costs of visas if necessary;
Medical insurance for a stay at the University of Toronto;
Up to $ 20 / day for accommodation, for 56 days, after providing the relevant receipts.
Costs are calculated at a rate of 55 Canadian dollars for a full day up to 3080 Canadian dollars for 56 full days in CERES.

Scholarship to study in China 2020

International student exchange program Global UGRAD

The International Student Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) is a program of the Department of Education and Cultural Programs of the US Department of State. The UGRAD program provides an opportunity for full-time students of higher education institutions to study during 1 academic year. All participants are selected on the basis of an open competition.
The competition for participation in the Global UGRAD program is open and is based on the assessment of a set of academic and personal achievements of candidates. All applications will be considered, semi-finalists will be invited for an interview.
Students of 1, 2, 3 courses can take part in the program (obligatory condition - after returning from the program students must stay at least one semester before receiving a diploma of higher education).
