On November 15, 2023, teachers and students of the Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages had the honor and pleasure of speaking about Ukraine at an international meeting and supporting the further discussion of issues of migration and national identity. Our multi-faceted presentation was about the spirituality, identity and greatness of the Ukrainian people, highlighted with attention to examples such as: the realities of today, the fate of GIIIM and our students as forced migrants, the historical prerequisites of various waves of forced emigration, the invaluable role of Ukrainians in the fight against fascism in World War II on all fronts and in the armies of many countries, the world uniqueness of outstanding people of Ukrainian origin, as well as the majestic beauty and powerful and multifaceted potential of Ukraine after our victory. The ensuing reflection, conversation and discussion were so sincere, warm and insightful that the international Epistemic (In)justice project once again proved its importance in promoting international awareness, cooperation and unity. We thank colleagues and students at the University of Azuay, Ecuador; University named after Masaryk, Czech Republic; Uzhhorod National University, Ukraine; University College London, Great Britain; Catholic University of Salta, Argentina; Pontifical Catholic University of Madre and Maestra, Dominican Republic.
