On November 24, 2023, the seminar "Internationalization and international cooperation at the Donbass State Pedagogical University: experience, problems, prospects" was held at DDPU
GIIM was represented by M.Y. Shkuropat, associate professor of the Department of English Philology and Translation, manager of the Erasmus + MultiEd project, and associate professor of the Department of Linguistics and Slavic Languages O.S. Shlapakov, coordinator of the direction of cooperation with Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic) ). Shkuropat M.Yu. made a presentation "Internationalization of education: the experience of implementing Erasmus projects at the GIIIM". She spoke about the results of the implementation of the Erasmus +KA2 MultiEd and WARN projects (2019-2023) at the GIIIM and the goals and objectives of the next Erasmus +KA2 DigiFled and BURN projects in 2024-2027.
Shlapakov O.S. shared the experience of holding joint COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) online sessions with a Czech university. Teachers and students of GIIIM closely cooperate with the Language Center of Masaryk University, effectively improve communication in English, Spanish and Czech, participate in meetings of the international film club and conduct active research in the international project "Epistemic (In)Justice".
The experience of GIIIM in international projects allows us to draw the following conclusion: participation in projects significantly affects the internationalization of education, provides opportunities for teachers and students to travel, study or exchange experience with European universities, promotes the development of partnerships, exchange of resources, development of joint programs, improves the quality of higher education , improves language training, helps HEIs to become more competitive, develop a culture of diversity, and prepare students and NPPs to work in an international environment.
