On February 29, 2024, at the invitation of the Department of English Philology and Translation of the Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication of the Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages of the DVNZ DDPU Yaroslava Mykolaivna Belmaz, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Foreign Philology of the communal institution "Kharkiv Humanitarian and Pedagogical Academy", held a guest lecture " Changes in the Phonetic System of English”. Teachers and students of education listened enthusiastically about the changes in the phonetic system of the English language and the corresponding scientific laws, observed phonetic processes and consequences in different periods of language development, borrowing from other languages, reduction of vowels, etc. Thank you dear Yaroslava Mykolaivna for a meaningful and informative lecture and a pleasant atmosphere!
