On April 17, students and teachers of GIIIM, as well as invited guests, had a great opportunity to visit the English-language interactive presentation "Beyond borders. Ukrainian Perceptions of Japan"

On April 17, students and teachers of the State Institute of Medical Sciences, as well as invited guests from the East European University named after Rauf Ablyazova had a great opportunity to visit the English-language interactive presentation "Beyond borders. Ukrainian Perceptions of Japan". Kate Nozaki, an English language trainer at EPAM Systems (Japan), a 2012 graduate of GIIIM, shared her experience of living and working in a different cultural environment. Kate Nozaki prepared a quiz with a number of interesting facts about Japan. The audience surprised the speaker with her interest and awareness of cultural differences in Japan, and she willingly answered questions that arose from the event attendees during the presentation. Students and teachers of GIIIM compared some similar and different features in Japanese and Ukrainian cultures, learned a lot of interesting things about life and communication in Japan.
