On May 3, 2024, the Department of English Philology and Translation held an informative and educational event "A Virtual Trip Around Britain".

The guests of the event virtually visited Britain together with students of the 3rd year of the Faculty of Social and Language Communication (Ponurovskaya Yulia, Koroleva Alisa, Velikorodna Polina, Danylo Zhiznevsky, Anatoliy Mozolevsky). Traveling to famous architectural monuments, learning the history, culture and practicing the language of this incredible country, guests felt the spirit of modern Britain with its established traditions of the royal monarchy, unique education system, extreme weather, amazing cuisine, world-famous authors, actors, museums and art galleries , bright music festivals, favorite holidays, passion for football and leisure.

Guests were offered interesting tasks using ICT to check the facts they remembered most about Britain. The participants of the event were convinced by their own experience that the combination of two important trends in modern education - English and ICT - is a guarantee not only of a useful time spent together, but also a significant perspective in the further professional growth of everyone.
