At the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages, training of higher education candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in the specialty 032 History and archaeology carried out:

• in postgraduate study in full-time and extramural forms of study; from the funds of the state budget, as well as from the funds of legal entities and/or individuals;
• outside postgraduate studies (for persons who professionally carry out scientific and pedagogical activities at the main place of work at the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages).

Individuals with a master's degree (educational and qualification level of a specialist) who have scientific achievements and published works in the chosen scientific specialty are admitted to postgraduate studies for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy on a competitive basis.

List of documents required for admission to graduate school:

• application for entrance exams;
• application for participation in the competition of entrants;
• a copy of the document (state model) about the previously obtained educational (educational and qualification) level of master's / specialist, on the basis of which admission is carried out;
• certificate of passing the unified entrance exam (UEI) 2023, 2024;
• a copy of the identity document provided for by the Law of Ukraine "On the Unified State Demographic Register and documents confirming the citizenship of Ukraine, certifying the person or his special status";
• a copy of the registration number of the taxpayer's registration card (RNOKPP);
• a copy of the work book (if available);
• personnel record sheet (with a photo card), certified by the personnel department at the last place of work or study;
• 2 color photo cards 3×4;
• a copy of the military registration document (for conscripts - a military ticket or a temporary card of a conscript, for conscripts - a certificate of registration at the conscription station, for reservists - a military ticket);
• research proposal in the chosen specialty;
• list of published scientific works and inventions; prints of published articles / abstracts (if available);
• recommendation of the Academic Council of the institution of higher education (if available);
• an international foreign language certificate, which certifies the level of knowledge of a foreign language not lower than level B2 of the All-European recommendations on language education (if available);
• a copy of the certificate of state registration of the act of civil status (if there are discrepancies in the surname, first name, patronymic, etc., indicated in the documents on previous education and in the identity document).
