At the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages, training of higher education candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education in the specialty B9 History and archaeology carried out:
- in postgraduate studies in full-time and part-time forms of study; at the expense of the state budget, as well as at the expense of legal entities and/or individuals;
- outside postgraduate studies (for persons who professionally carry out scientific and pedagogical activities at the main place of work at the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages).
Individuals with a master's degree (educational and qualification level of a specialist) who have scientific achievements and published works in the chosen scientific specialty are admitted to postgraduate studies for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy on a competitive basis.
Applicants to postgraduate studies in 2025 submit the following documents:
- Application – the content of the application in paper form corresponds to the content of the application in electronic form;
- a copy of the document (state model) about the previously obtained educational (educational and qualification) level of master's / specialist, on the basis of which the admission is made;
- certificate of passing the EVI 2023 or 2024 or 2025 (with a score for each of its blocks of at least 150 points);
- certificate of passing the 2025 European Examination on Scientific Research Methodology (with a score of at least 100 points);
- a copy of the identity document provided for by the Law of Ukraine "On the Unified State Demographic Register and documents confirming the citizenship of Ukraine, certifying the person or his special status";
- a copy of the registration number of the taxpayer's registration card (RNOKPP);
- a copy of the work book (if available);
- personnel record sheet (with a photo card), certified by the personnel department at the last place of work or study;
- 2 color photo cards 3×4;
- a copy of the military registration document (for those liable for military service - a military ID or a temporary certificate of a military conscript, for conscripts - a certificate of registration at the conscription station);
- a research proposal in the chosen specialty;
- list of published scientific works and inventions; prints of published articles / abstracts (if available);
- recommendation of the Academic Council of the institution of higher education (if available);
- a copy of the certificate of state registration of the civil status act (if there are discrepancies in the surname, first name, patronymic, etc. indicated in the documents on previous education and in the identity document);
- a copy of the document certifying the grounds for special conditions for participation in the entrance campaign;
- a motivation letter, which contains information about the applicant's academic achievements.
