November 21-22, 2019, a group of GIIM representatives consisting of the GIIM Director Assoc. Belitskaya EM, responsible for international cooperation Assoc. Shkuropat M.Yu. and the head of the department of quality monitoring of higher education Assoc. Sklyar IO, attended a seminar in Kyiv "Vision and Strategic Planning of the Institutional Development of Free Economic Development", which took place within the project"Strengthening Relocated Ukrainian Universities for Sustainable Development". The project is implemented by the Program. Fulbright to Ukraine with financial support from the Press, Education and Culture Department of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
The participants of the seminar were offered presentations Taras Finikov, President of the International Foundation for Educational Policy Research, project consultant on project issues and expectations of project organizers;Catherine the Dark, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Communications of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine named after Hennadiy Udovenko, a participant in the McCain Institute's Next Generation Leaders Program, on Leadership in Higher Education.
Representatives of GIIM took part in the discussion of the problem of relocated free economic zones and the vision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on their further development, proposed Svetlana Kretovich, Head of the Main Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Vitaly Noskom, State Expert of the Directorate of Higher Education and Adult Education, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Meaningful and important, especially on the eve of the accreditation of master's programs, was presentation Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, Head of the Secretariat of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, on the requirements for monitoring the quality of higher education in Ukraine in the context of the beginning of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
Representatives of GIIM agreed to further participate in the project and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation with the Institute of International Education and the Fulbright Office throughout the project. The GIIM team will prepare for further participation in the seminars SWOT analysis external and internal environment of GIM, projects of vision and mission of GIM for formulation of strategy of development of our educational institution.
