April 27, 2022 teacher of the Department of English Philology and Translation A.Ye. Sokolova held a career guidance event for 11th grade students of the Bakhmut educational complex "Secondary school I-III degrees №11 - multidisciplinary lyceum" Bakhmut City Council of Donetsk region. The purpose of the event was to encourage entrants to enter the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the State Pedagogical University.

During the video meeting, students learned about the faculties and specialties of our institute. Prospective entrants got acquainted in detail with the benefits of studying in three educational and professional programs offered by the Department of English Philology and Translation: 014.021 Secondary education (English language and literature). Information and communication technologies; 014.021 Secondary education (English language and literature). Psychology and 035.041 Philology (translation (English; German or French).

Zhukova Kateryna, a student of the 11th grade, expressed interest in the specialty 035.041 Philology (translation (English; German or French), as she has a great desire to enter the GIIM SHEI DDPU and study foreign languages in depth.

In addition, the participants were able to learn more about the conditions of admission through the educational center "Donbas / Crimea - Ukraine", contact details of the selection committee and about GIIM on social networks by watching meaningful videos about the institute and bright student life.
