Student freedom is not just a beautiful expression of the official
documents or speeches. This is, first of all, students' awareness of their right to choose the content and forms of education guaranteed by the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education".
That is why the departments of GIIM SHEI "DDPU" annually form catalogs of disciplines of free choice of students, based on the needs of each educational program.
The German Language Section of the Department of Germanic Philology of the Federal Republic of Germany, forming its catalog of disciplines of free choice of students for 2022-2023 academic year, took into account the specifics of our educational program 014.022 Language and Literature (German, English) and individual requests. In particular, in an effort to expand the range of professional competencies of students, disciplines related to German business discourse or German business correspondence were proposed.
The appearance in the catalog of disciplines of free choice of students for 2022-2023 academic year, disciplines dedicated to German political discourse, due to the epoch-making social changes caused by the ongoing war, and the need to acquaint this type of discourse future German teachers.
