Presentation of the DigiFLEd project at the 10th International Scientific and Practical Online Conference "Modern Linguistic Paradigms"

On April 19, 2024, the Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages of the DVNZ DDPU was held X International Scientific and Practical Online Conference "Modern Linguistic Paradigms". At the scientific event, scientists and methodologists from Poland, the Czech Republic, Estonia, the USA, and Ukraine presented the results of their research.

As part of the report "Digitalization of education as a norm in strategic planning of higher education institutions" Iryna Sklyar a presentation took place international grant project Erasmus+ "Modernization of university educational programs in foreign languages based on integration with information technologies" 2024-2027 (DigiFLEd). DigiFLEd takes into account the requirements of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education. Also Development strategies of all Ukrainian HEIs-partners are directed to the digitization of many links of the educational process and educational activity.

Iryna Sklyar reported that the project provides for: study European experience for further development of electronic courses and recommendations for their planning; practical training on the use of digital tools; modernization educational programs of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education with adaptation to the modern needs of the labor market and EU standards; development and implementation new courses (including electronic ones) that combine linguistic / literary disciplines and digital technologies; introduction new methods of teaching and learning related to digitalization of the educational process. Such tasks of DigiFLEd will contribute to the internationalization of educational practice and the mobility of the academic community, the establishment of sustainable cooperation between HEIs-partners through the creation of a network of university virtual centers.

The report aroused the sincere interest of the conference participants and prompted an active discussion.
