Thanks to the project "Success is born here: career centers of Donbas universities", which was implemented by the Czech non-governmental humanitarian organization "Man in Trouble" and was carried out within the framework of the project "Strengthening Public Trust" (UCBI II), financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID ), the possibility of opening a Career Development Center appeared in our institute.

The Center for Career Development of GIIIM was created with the aim of promoting the employment of applicants and graduates in order to achieve their career goals.

Areas of activity of the center:

• increasing the level of competitiveness and awareness of applicants and graduates about the state and trends of the labor market in order to ensure the maximum possibility of their employment;
• conducting thematic events and individual consultations with the aim of promoting a successful job search by applicants and graduates;
• development and establishment of the institute's relations with potential employers and increasing the employment opportunities of applicants and graduates of the institute;
• organization of employers' interviews with applicants and graduates;
• increasing the motivation of talented youth and preventing their mass departure to work abroad;
• collecting, summarizing, analyzing and providing applicants with information about the state of labor market trends, requirements for applicants for a workplace, formation of a data bank of vacancies offered by employers in relevant specialties;
• providing information about current vacancies, internships, etc.;
• conducting individual consultations on the job search strategy, preparation of a professional resume, negotiation skills;
• organization of information and advertising work aimed at announcing events held at the city and institute levels in the field of employment;
• organization and holding of forums, career days, job fairs, presentations of employers' organizations, seminars, company presentations, trainings, round tables and workshops;
• placement of information about vacancies on the institute's internal resources;
• forming a database of graduates;
• prompt counseling of graduates regarding employment opportunities;
• collection of information on the career path of graduates;
• monitoring of professional activity, tracking the employment trajectory of graduates.
