On March 21, 2019, on the World Poetry Day, the city of Sloviansk received guests from different regions of Ukraine. The All-Ukrainian festival-competition "Poetic Landing in Slovyansk" was held in the city central library named after M. Petrenko. More than 100 participants of different ages in three groups took part in the competition: children (8-15 years old), youth (16-30 years old) and adults (31 and beyond). The Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages was represented by Anastasia Pelipenko, a third-year student at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages. In the poetry competition, she became one of the three leaders. The jury of the festival-competition unanimously awarded Pelipenko Anastasia second place.
