"FRENCH SPRING IN UKRAINE: COLOR"

On April 16, 2019, the 16th Festival "FRENCH SPRING IN UKRAINE: COLOR" opened at the Central Library of Bakhmut.

Students of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages had the opportunity to join this cultural event and watch the French film "Jeronimo" in the original.

"French Spring in Ukraine" is an annual festival of French culture in Ukraine. An event that offers innovative projects every year and is a space for exchange, creativity, entertainment and co-production, but does not change the format.

"The French Spring is a unique event, a celebration of French culture and French-Ukrainian relations in all parts of Ukraine and beyond," said French Ambassador to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont.

For the first time the general theme of the festival was chosen - COLOR. "Color is a force that directly affects the soul," said one of the first abstractionists, Vasyl Kandinsky, who lived in France for some time. The colors and emotions of this year's "French Spring" build bridges from the French to the Ukrainian soul.
