JOURNÉE INTERNATIONALE DE FRANCOPHONIE

JOURNÉE INTERNATIONALE DE FRANCOPHONIE

On March 20, the world celebrated the International Day of Francophonie and the Day of the French Language at the UN - holidays that emphasize the importance of one of the most common languages in the world, spoken by over 200 million people. Higher education students of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages did not remain aloof from this event, organizing a bright and informative program.

As part of the celebration, the Francophones of the GIIM prepared an interactive event, where they presented: historical facts about the development of the French language, linguistic features that make it unique, the wealth of French cultural traditions, the beauty of French poetry, and the grandeur of the most famous architectural monuments.

The atmosphere of spring Paris was created by Yves Montana's legendary song "Under the Sky of Paris."
We express our sincere gratitude to everyone who came to the French language festival and took an active part. We would like to express our special gratitude to: representatives of the comprehensive school of grades I-II No. 7 of the Bakhmut city council of Donetsk region, representatives of the comprehensive school of grades I-III No. 11 of the Kramatorsk city council of Donetsk region, and to the French teacher Olga Bagdasarova.
This event was a great opportunity for students and guests to deepen their knowledge of the French language and culture, as well as to feel part of a large French-speaking community.
Vive la France! Vive le français! Vive la Francophonie!
