Final meeting in the "Art Therapy Workshop"

Final meeting in the "Art Therapy Workshop"

On March 26, 2025, the final meeting was held at the “Art Therapy Workshop”, which worked for 2 months within the framework of the “Warm Wednesday” project from the Department of Psychology and the Center for Psychological Resilience of the GIIM. Like the previous ones, the meeting was held by Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology N.G. Kosheleva, who, at the beginning of the event, summed up the work together with the participants.

During this time, using art therapy technologies, such topical topics as the search for resources, vitality, external and internal supports, the development of self-understanding and self-acceptance, building a positive self-concept, maintaining life balance in various areas, ensuring well-being and comfort in communication, developing emotional stabilization skills, improving self-esteem and self-respect were worked out. The final meeting was dedicated to the important issue of self-worth and its practical awareness through the art therapy technique "Flower Meadow". The technique helped the participants see their strengths, find resources for recovery, and realize their own individuality.

After the work was completed, there were many thanks and positive feedback from participants, who spoke about important realizations, a warm supportive atmosphere, pleasant emotions, and the resource received at the meetings. We thank all participants for their interest, deep work, friendly support, and the warm circle of like-minded people created! We invite everyone to participate in the next projects of "Warm Wednesday" from the Department of Psychology and the Center for Psychological Resilience of the GIIM.
