On April 23, 2025, the Department of English Philology and Translation of the Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication of the Gorlovka Institute of Foreign Languages of the State Higher Educational Institution of the State Pedagogical University of the Ukrainian SSR held an event dedicated to the birthday of William Shakespeare (1564 -1616). The name of W. Shakespeare, his quotes, and catchphrases are known to the whole world.

At this event, some secrets and mysteries of the life of W. Shakespeare were revealed, the guests learned many interesting facts from the life of the great English poet. Students recited sonnets by William Shakespeare, trying to convey all the feelings. A quiz was held on the Kahoot platform based on the materials of the event, where those who wished had the opportunity to test the acquired knowledge in practice.
