For the fourth year now, the hospitable team of the historical and cultural reserve "Mezhybizh" in the Khmelnytskyi region, headed by the well-known historian and archaeologist O. G. Pohorelets in Ukraine and far beyond, has been welcoming participants in the archaeological internship. For the second year, students of the history department of our institute have been participating in its implementation. The official basis for the internship was the joint Agreement on Cooperation between the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University and the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages. The permanent head of the internship is Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Yu.M. Brovender.
Participants of archaeological practice, in accordance with the work program, work at the excavation site and are engaged in cameral processing of archaeological material. Every day, educational archaeological practice is supplemented with interesting excursions and lectures conducted by the director of the reserve O. Pohorelets, as well as researchers of the reserve V. Vetrov, O. Nadvornyak, I. Zapadenko, T. Vetrova.
Archaeological practice in the Mezhybizh Reserve is also a time for active recreation, a time for gaining positive life experience, those "soft" skills that every person needs so much.
