On June 20, 2025, the Department of English Philology and Translation of the Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the State Higher Educational Institution of the State Pedagogical University of the Republic of Dnipropetrovsk held a cultural and educational event THE WORLD OF ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES.

At this event, participants learned many interesting facts about English-speaking countries, had the opportunity to go on a virtual journey through English-speaking countries together with students of the OPP "Secondary Education (English Language and Foreign Literature). Psychology" (Berezhnaya Maria, Sydyuk Anna), applicants of the OPP "Philology (Translation (English; German or French))" (Peftits Vera, Yulia, Sviastina Alena, Burtseva Yulia) with the technical support of Koroleva Alisa.
Interesting tasks were proposed in WORDWALL to check the facts that the participants remembered most from the life of English-speaking countries.

At the end of the event, a brief description of the educational programs that the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the State Higher Educational Institution of the State Pedagogical University of Ukraine is presenting this year was given. Particular attention was paid to the new OPP of the Department of English Philology and Translation: "English Language and Foreign Literature. Intercultural Communication", "Translation and Intercultural Communication (English, German or French)".
