The Directorate for the Development of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine informs that August 27, 2025 The State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine organizes a webinar "Academic Integrity and Research Ethics in the Age of Open Science." The webinar will cover topical topics of modern scientific practice: the ethics of using artificial intelligence in research, issues of confidentiality and protection of personal data in open scientific projects, as well as mechanisms for ensuring transparency and reproducibility of research results. The role and functions of the Research Ethics Committee (IRB – Institutional Review Board) in ensuring ethical standards, the procedure for obtaining ethical permission for research involving human subjects, as well as the adaptation of traditional ethical procedures to the requirements of open science and international cooperation will be separately considered.
