WE STRENGTHEN CONTACTS WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY

Most of the institute's faculty and staff have the status of internally displaced persons. Among the problems associated with this status, one of the socially important and psychologically quite difficult is the integration of IDPs into the local community.

Representatives of our Kyiv "diaspora" are getting an interesting experience here. Active cooperation with the National Museum of Literature of Ukraine has been going on for almost a year: in December, the museum hospitably received participants of the all-Ukrainian event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the literary organization of Donetsk Oblast, which was initiated by N. V. Kovalska, a member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine. Our colleagues are becoming active participants in various events held by the museum: literary and artistic meetings, author's evenings, etc. On the eve of Independence Day, G. P. Dokashenko gave a historical report at the event "Ukraine Lives in the Heart". The recognition of our colleagues' contribution to the formation of national memory was the Acknowledgements from the museum management.

Such activity is also important for the institute, because the "Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages" is heard on various platforms across the country as an example of our indomitability and faith in the future of the educational institution.
