We inform you that from October 2 to 16, 2025 in Ukraine is celebrated 35th Anniversary of the Revolution on Granite — a mass student action of civil disobedience, which became an important page in the history of the Ukrainian people's struggle for freedom, democracy, and independence.

The Revolution on Granite (October 1990) laid the tradition nonviolent resistance, self-organization and civic activity of young people. These events became a prerequisite for further steps towards independence of Ukraine.

Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance together with National Memorial Complex of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred – Museum of the Revolution of Dignity prepared thematic information materialsdedicated to this date.

We invite students to join in commemorating the event that became a symbol of unity, dignity and strength of the student movement in Ukraine.
