On October 16, the Department of English Philology and Translation of the Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the State Higher Educational Institution of the State University of Political Science and Law of Ukraine held the 10th All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Language Communication and Modern Technologies in the Format of Multi-Level Systems" in an online format.

The participants and guests were greeted by the Acting Director, Doctor of Philology, Prof. T.M. Marchenko, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Language Communication, Candidate of Philology, Assoc. Prof. V.G. Marakhovska, and Head of the Department of English Philology and Translation, Candidate of Philology, Assoc. Prof. O.V. Krut.

At the plenary session (moderator – lecturer G.O. Vlasova) the guest speakers were N.M. Miroshnychenko, master's student; scientific supervisor – candidate of philological sciences, associate professor M.V. Berezhna, Zaporizhzhia National University; D.O. Kornev, master's student; scientific supervisor – candidate of philological sciences, associate professor M.V. Berezhna, Zaporizhzhia National University. From the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages, the results of their scientific research were presented by the lecturer of the Department of English Philology and Translation G.O. Vlasova; M.O. Skurativska, master's student (501); Yu.M. Bolbit, master's student (542); D.O. Bobylev, master's student (604a), S.V. Melnyk, master's student (604a).

60 reports were presented at the plenary and ten sectional meetings by participants from such educational institutions as: Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the State Higher Educational Institution of the State Pedagogical University of Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia National University, Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi, Kharkiv Humanitarian University "People's Ukrainian Academy", Mykhailo Tugan-Baranovsky Educational and Scientific Institute of Economics and Trade of Kryvyi Rih National University, Ternopil National Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Hnatyuk, Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, Mykhailo Drahomanov Ukrainian State University, Dnipro National University named after Oles Honchar, Rauf Ablyazov Eastern European University, Sumy State University.

We thank the conference guests, researchers and leaders for their attention to the scientific event.
