As part of the weekly initiative "Warm Wednesday"» The webinar "Discipline without Pressure: How to Choose Yourself Every Day" was held. The meeting was dedicated to the topic of self-discipline, but not in the usual, strict sense, but as a manifestation of care and love for oneself.
During the webinar, in a warm and trusting atmosphere, participants, together with the leading psychologist Kateryna Zhurbilyuk, reconsidered their own attitude to the discipline, performed reflective exercises and shared thoughts in the chat. Through real-life examples and therapeutic stories, we examined how the state changes when, instead of the phrase "I must" we tell ourselves "I choose".
Special attention was paid to the concept of microsteps – small but stable actions that form internal support and help gradually move towards goals without pressure and self-criticism.
Participants noted that this form of discipline gives them more peace, confidence, and a sense of control over their lives. The meeting ended with a short reflection, allowing everyone to realize what they were taking away from the webinar.
Thank you to everyone who joined!
The meeting is organized The Center for Psychological Resilience of the GIIM with the support of the project Erasmus+ KA2 BURN – “Strengthening the Psychological Resilience and Well-being of the University Community in the (Post)War Ukrainian State” (BURN – ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE), funded by the European Union.
