In December 2025, the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine will organize a number of scientific and informational events for Ukrainian scientists, teachers, graduate students, librarians, and publishing specialists.

Participation in the webinars is free of charge and is held in Ukrainian. Prior registration is required. A participant certificate is provided if you attend more than 90 minutes of the webinar's main time.

December 10, 2025 – webinar  «"Persistent identifiers: navigating the global scientific space"

We invite scientists, librarians, repository administrators, and editors of scholarly publications to join us in a webinar on the Persistent Identifier System in the Open Science Ecosystem. You will learn how modern identifiers are changing the way scientific results are published, cited, and searched in the digital space. 

Key topics of the webinar:

  • ORCID is a digital “passport” of a scientist;
  • ROR – institutions;  
  • DOI — permanent links to scientific objects;
  • Handle System and other identifiers;
  • Integration of identifiers into the scientific process (connection between ORCID, DOI, ROR and other identifiers, automation of bibliography through permanent identifiers);
