On December 25, a French-language event dedicated to the celebration of Christmas in France was held

On December 25, 2025, a special atmosphere reigned at the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages - warm, bright and truly Christmassy. It was on this day that a French-language event dedicated to the celebration of Christmas in France took place, organized by the first (bachelor's) level of higher education students of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages, Moiseeva Alina, Lymanska Svitlana and Vasylyuk Anastasia.

The festive meeting was attended by representatives of the institute's administration, teachers, GIIM students, French language teachers, and future applicants. The event became a space for sincere communication, cultural exchange, and joint immersion in French Christmas traditions.
The aim of the event was to popularize the French language and introduce the Christmas traditions of France. A warm festive atmosphere of lively dialogue prevailed throughout the meeting. The participants were offered various interactive activities: solving crossword puzzles, getting to know the traditions of celebrating Christmas, and national Christmas dishes of France in a bright interactive format.

A special highlight of the event was the recitation of poems and singing of songs in French, which added a special charm and authenticity to the event. Fairytale characters, active interaction with the audience, and sincere interest of the guests created the atmosphere of a real pre-Christmas miracle.

Thanks to the initiative, creativity, and coordinated work of the students, the event gave those present a sense of comfort, joy, and unity, once again confirming that language is not only a learning tool, but also a bridge between cultures and hearts.
