January 9, 2026 The Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages has become a center of creativity, wisdom, and national spirit. Today, a distance learning format was held III (regional) stage of the 16th International Language and Literary Competition of School and Student Youth named after Taras Shevchenko.

This event brought together the strongest, most motivated, and most talented students of professional pre-higher and higher education in the Donetsk region. Even in the most difficult times, the Ukrainian word continues to sound confidently and with dignity, proving that the intellectual front of our youth is invincible.

The grand opening of the competition began with the playing of the National Anthem of Ukraine. This moment became a true symbol of the inner strength and unity of all participants, despite the remote format. The organizing committee addressed the contestants with words of welcome and sincere support, wishing everyone a creative takeoff and faith in their own strength.

“When you see such talented and determined youth, your heart is filled with warmth and unwavering faith: we will persevere, win, and flourish.”, – the organizers note.

This year, the honor of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages was defended by Kostrykova Anastasia, 2nd year student of the educational program "Secondary education (Ukrainian language and literature). Psychology".

Participation in such a prestigious competition is not only a test of knowledge, but also a manifestation of deep respect for Shevchenko's words and Ukrainian culture. We are sincerely proud of Anastasia and her desire for professional and personal growth.

The stage of reviewing the works is currently underway. Ahead is the exciting moment of summing up the results and determining the winners, which the entire academic community is eagerly awaiting.
