Clarivate Essential

Topic: Analysis of article bibliography in the Web of Science Core Collection

Abstracts: When indexing materials to the Web of Science Core Collection, the platform transfers the abstract, author data, including contact email, institutions listed in the work, information about grant support, and article bibliography. At the same time, all sources that were in the literature list are indexed, regardless of whether the source is indexed in the Web of Science. All documents are unified and represent a separate data set, the analysis of which allows us to determine the influence of the works of a scientist or publication, even if these works are not indexed on the platform. The Web of Science Core Collection stores almost 3 billion records from article bibliography. In the webinar, we will create citation reports for a specific topic, scientist, institution, analyze the citation of unindexed documents, and determine how to find out whether your journal is cited in the Web of Science, work with related records, and configure citation notifications. Answers to your questions.
