Topic: "How to set goals and achieve them"

🤝 On December 17, 2025 at 6:00 PM, a Warm Wednesday was held, dedicated to the topic of goal setting and ways to achieve one's own goals. The meeting was hosted by Natalia Zolotnytska - psychologist, volunteer, group leader, Gestalt therapist in training, graduate of the GIIM.

😍 The format of the meeting was practical, reflective, and supportive. At the beginning, participants had the opportunity to share their state "here and now", which helped create a safe space for open dialogue and self-exploration.

👌 During the meeting, participants:

  • considered the reasons why it is often not possible to achieve the set goals;
  • worked with the “Balance Wheel” technique, analyzing different areas of life;
  • reflected on whether the goals are true or imposed by external expectations;
  • determine the level of realism of their own goals;
  • We were introduced to Principle 5 of %, the SMART technique, and the concept of plateaus on the way to results.

🌱 At the end of the meeting, participants shared their own insights and concrete steps they can take now to move towards their goal. The meeting became a space of support, awareness, and motivation for small but real changes.

📍 Organizer: Center for Psychological Resilience of the Institute of International Relations.
🤝 The event was held with the support of the Erasmus+ KA2 BURN project - "Strengthening the psychological resilience and well-being of the university community in the (post)war Ukrainian state" (BURN - ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE), funded by the European Union.
