Congratulations to Victoria Usyk, a third-year student of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Languages, on receiving a scholarship under the Sur-Place program of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation!

The first seminar of scholarship holders was held in Dnipro on September 5-8, during which representatives of active and promising youth of eastern Ukraine met with prominent people of recent history of Europe and Ukraine, including the President of the European Parliament (2007-2009) Hans-Gert Pöttering, Deputy Consul General of Germany in Donetsk (Dnipro) Peter Schmal, Mayor of Dnipro Boris Filatov and many others. Communication in a friendly democratic atmosphere turned out to be informative and extremely inspiring.
