Topic: “Simple words about the complex: how to support in times of loss”
✨ The meeting was dedicated to the topic of grief and psychological support for a person experiencing loss.
The goal of the work was to develop an understanding of the processes of experiencing grief, as well as an awareness of how to support it ecologically — without devaluing, advice, and pressure.
💬 During the meeting, participants:
👌 talked about the nature of grief as a complex, multi-layered experience;
👌 we analyzed typical phrases of support - what can hurt and what really helps;
👌 we learned about the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance);
👌 separately considered the features of children's grief and behavioral manifestations at different ages;
👌 discussed ways to support yourself in a state of loss (the "mask on the plane" rule, a self-care diary);
👌 explored the role of rituals and "treasure chests of memories" as a resource in the process of experiencing pain.
🌱 The atmosphere of the meeting was sensitive, empathetic, and supportive. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share their own experiences, and receive practical guidance on helping themselves and others.
The meeting was an important step towards a more conscious attitude towards the topic of loss, expanding the culture of support, and accepting that grief is a process that requires time, care, and human presence.
