We congratulate the applicants for higher education of group 341 of the educational and professional program "Philology (Translation (English; German or French))" of the Department of English Philology and Translation of the Faculty of Social and Linguistic Communication of the Gorlovka Institute of Foreign Languages of the State Higher Educational Institution "Donbass State Pedagogical University" on the successful completion and defense of the translation practice. Despite the educational and professional focus, the translation practice for two weeks at LLC "MDDK" was intensive and involved work with multi-disciplinary texts: written translations of texts on agricultural, medical, artistic and technical topics from English into Ukrainian were performed; bilingual terminological dictionaries were compiled and translation studies were conducted to ensure accuracy, terminological compliance and language normativity. Specialized translation software (CAT tools, such as Trados) was used in the work process. We express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Mikhail Yepanov and Mr. Oleksiy Ivanov for their important and highly professional assistance in organizing and conducting internships at the translation agency. The students demonstrated the appropriate level of professional training and the ability to apply modern digital technologies in translation activities. We wish them further professional growth, inspiration, new opportunities, and significant achievements in their studies and translation activities.
