A meeting of the DigiFLEd project management board was held on May 26. Coordinator from the University of Tampere (Finland) Yulia Shumilova and National Coordinator from Karazin KhNU Nataliya Oliynyk informed those present about the status of signing the additional agreement for the project and re-approval of the project by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Marina Shkuropat, responsible manager for WP 5 Development, reported on the readiness of the materials of the piloted courses for inclusion in the project report. She noted that the team leaders of the four piloted courses collected lecture notes, presentations, practical lesson plans and tests into a single PDF file. In addition, the team leaders prepared screenshots with examples of posting materials in Moodle, as well as screenshots of the conducted classes and meetings with reviewers. All of the specified materials were uploaded to the corresponding folders on Google Drive. The same will be done after the piloting of open electronic courses, which is currently taking place at Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Zhytomyr universities.

After the pilot is approved and all necessary changes are made, the Ukrainian language course will be prepared for upload to the Moodle platforms of all partner universities, as specified in the grant agreement. The course will be hosted on the Moodle platforms of Ukrainian universities by the end of June, and on the Moodle platforms of EU partner universities by the end of September.

The Manager responsible for WP 7 Dissemination, Olena Gurko, spoke about the progress of trainings for school teachers and university lecturers on the use of digital tools in language teaching. So far, two waves of trainings have been held, in January and March, with about 170 participants. The next wave of trainings starts in June.

Responsible Manager for WP 6 Quality Tetyana Myronenko outlined the results of the survey of participants in the first two waves of trainings. She noted that withThe general response to the DigiFLEd training programs implemented in 2026 was very positive. Both quantitative evaluation data and qualitative participant feedback indicated high levels of satisfaction across all assessed parameters, including program organization, communication, course structure, content relevance, and practical applicability. The evaluation results confirm that both waves of training successfully met—and in many cases exceeded—participants’ professional expectations.

The project managers discussed the program of the final conference of the project, which will be held in Greece from October 19 to 23. They planned to hold master classes, round tables for the exchange of experience, presentations of experience in the project. The host party proposed a program of visits to university campuses in the region, a cultural program for participants.

The next meeting of the project management board will be held in August.
