For the fifth year now, the State Historical and Cultural Reserve "Mezhybizh" has hospitably welcomed future historians - students of the Volodymyr Dahl East Ukrainian National University and the Educational and Scientific Institute "Gorlivka Institute of Foreign Languages" of the State Higher Educational Institution "Donbass State Pedagogical University".

Our institute is represented in the archaeological expedition for the third year in a row by Vladyslav Khmelyk, a student of group 302a of the educational and professional program "Secondary Education (History). Psychology".

Under the guidance of Yuriy Mykhailovych Brovender, professor of the Department of History named after Professor Viktor Dokashenko, student interns from two Eastern Ukrainian universities will test in practice the knowledge gained during lectures on archaeology and gain experience in conducting field archaeological research for a month. The participants of this field season's practice have more than educational tasks, namely an archaeological survey of the Medzhybizh archaeological microdistrict in order to identify new archaeological sites, as well as excavations of an ancient burial mound. There are already the first discoveries!
