Cooperation with business associations: experience of implementing the Erasmus+ BURN project

The third year of project implementation is underway. Erasmus+ KA2 BURNBoosting University Psychological Resilience and Wellbeing in (Post-) War Ukrainian Nation (101129379 – BURN – ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) “Enhancing Psychological Resilience and Well-Being in Universities in (Post)War Ukraine.”

The results of the work carried out by the team of the Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages of the DSU already go far beyond the academic environment and are actively implemented in the business sphere.

August 19, 2026 A meeting of the Committee on Small and Medium-Sized Businesses of the Donetsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held. During the event, the head of the Center for Psychological Resilience of the GIIM of the Donetsk People's Republic Tatiana Borozentseva presented to entrepreneurs the features of applying a trauma-informed approach in the management of organizations during war.

The main thesis of the speech: Taking care of the team's mental state is not charity, but a strategy for survival and business preservationThe report was based on training materials developed by project participants during 2025. In addition, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the Donetsk region were invited to use the capabilities of the Center for Psychological Resilience of the State Institute of International Relations of the Donetsk People's Republic to organize and conduct events to support the mental well-being of employees of enterprises in the region.
