DigiFLEd Final Conference in Greece

DigiFLEd Final Conference in Greece

From October 19 to 23, the GIIM team took part in the final conference of the international educational project Erasmus+ DigiFLEd, organized at the University of Western Macedonia in Kastoria, Greece. Our institute was represented by the director, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Tetyana Marchenko; deputy director, associate professor Valentina Marakhovska; doctor of historical sciences, professor Halyna Dokashenko; and project manager, associate professor of the Department of English Philology and Translation Maryna Shkuropat.

Five days in sunny Kastoria were very eventful. Partners presented the project results, shared experiences, discussed what was successful and what still needs to be worked on, held master classes, presentations, planned the final steps, talked about the future of the created courses and Digital Language Hubs. And, of course, we talked a lot - as colleagues, partners and a team that has been working together for almost three years.

The cultural program of the visit was also rich. The participants visited the main university campus in Kozani, the ethnographic and archaeological museums, the saffron cooperative in Krokos, and simply enjoyed the streets of the old town of Kastoria, full of authentic Greek flavor.

The GIIM team is sincerely grateful to the host for the extraordinary hospitality, impeccable organization, care for each participant, and the special warm atmosphere that was created.

The final conference has ended. The most important stage of preparation and reporting is ahead. We wish the team success in this stage.
