A LANGUAGE THAT CANNOT BE PAUSED 💙💛

A LANGUAGE THAT CANNOT BE PAUSED 💙💛

For the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, the Department of Ukrainian Philology, the Resource Center for Professional Development of Teachers of Ukrainian Language and Literature, together with applicants for specialties A4.01 Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature), B11.01 Ukrainian Language and Literature, and internal stakeholders of educational programs of the National Educational Institution "Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages", prepared a solemn event dedicated to our most valuable spiritual heritage - the native word.

"Language preserves memory. Who we were. Who we have become. And who we want to be" - these words became the leitmotif of the meeting, during which they talked about the power of the Ukrainian language, its ability to unite people, preserve our identity, and pass on memory to future generations.

Participants joined the interactive survey "One Word - a Whole World", shared associations, and reflected on the importance of the Ukrainian language in the lives of each of us.

The event was given a particularly emotional tone by an appeal to the work of the modern Ukrainian writer Artur Dron, the author of the text of the Radiodictation of National Unity-2026. His poetry about love that never ceases became a reminder of the strength of the human spirit, mutual support, and indomitability.

They also remembered the immortal Lesya Ukrainka, her Mavka, and that spiritual treasure that never loses its relevance – love for people, the world, and the native language.

The culmination of the event was participation in the writing of the Radio Dictation of National Unity. After all, regardless of where we are, the Ukrainian word unites us in a common desire to protect, cherish, and popularize our native language.

💙💛 The Ukrainian language is our memory, our resilience, our freedom and our future. It cannot be put on pause, because it lives in each of us!
