The Laboratory for the Study of Hybrid Threats, which operates on the basis of the Department of History named after Professor Viktor Dokashenko, held the first practical event of this academic year - on October 29, the 10th scientific and practical conference "Regional Studies in the Civilizational Dimension: Directions and Prospects for Progress" was held. For the third year in a row, an appropriate topic and format have been selected for the conference, while the previous two years were roundtables. This year, the conference was held in the thematic format "Push to Action: Ukrainian Movement in the East and South of Ukraine" in a mixed format. The co-organizers of the conference were the public organization "Institute of Unity", Donetsk Regional Youth Public Organization "Push", Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus, Ukrainian National News Agency "Ukrinform". The participants of the conference were scientists, teachers and students of higher education institutions of Ukraine, journalists, and public figures. On behalf of the students, Angelina Belaya, a first-level (bachelor's) higher education student in the field of Secondary Education (History). Psychology, welcomed the conference participants.
