He graduated from the Kyiv State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages, defended his dissertation. In 1995 he received a certificate of associate professor.
He defended his doctoral dissertation on the specialty 10.01.01 - Ukrainian literature on "Art Constants of Mykola Kulish" (1997). In 2001 he received a professor's certificate.
Teaches disciplines: "Communicative Strategies (Ukrainian language)", "Narrative practices of modern Ukrainian language", "Sociolinguistics", "Modern literary process in Ukraine: concepts and trends", "Methodology of modern literary research", "Modern scientific language", "Introduction to Literary Studies".
Author of more than 570 scientific publications, including 6 monographs, 4 collections of articles, 3 manuals, 1 textbook. Winner of the prize of the magazine "Modernity" and the League of Ukrainian Patrons. Laureate of the Academician Alexander Biletsky Literary Prize.
Research interests: current Ukrainian literature, cinema and literary process, artistic Nobel Prize of the XXI century, the latest trends in world literature
