On March 17, 2023, within the framework of international cooperation, teachers of the Department of Ukrainian Philology and students of higher education of the educational and professional program "Secondary Education (Ukrainian Language and Literature). Psychology" attended the public lecture "The Corpus of Texts as a Tool for Linguistic Research" by the researcher of the Department of Slavic Linguistics and Lexicography of the Slavic Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Ph.D., Associate Professor Hanna Sitar.

Representatives of the academic community of Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after G. Skovorody, Lviv University named after I. Franko, Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko, Cherkasy National University named after B. Khmelnytskyi.

Hanna Vasylivna familiarized the audience with the results of the project of the Slavic Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, which, beyond any doubt, impresses with its scale and scientific depth. With great interest, the listeners immersed themselves in the secrets of creating text corpora, learned about the specifics of information search and its linguistic interpretation. Thanks to the demonstrated examples and comments of the researcher, the participants of the event felt how scrupulous, painstaking and at the same time interesting work it is, especially for those who strive to get the desired result.
