On May 11, students and teachers of the Department of Ukrainian Philology (a total of 27 people) joined to an extremely interesting meeting with Dr. Habilitation, Professor of the Department of Slavic Linguistics of the Institute of Linguistics and Literature of the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin Lyubov Dmytrivna Frolyak, author of more than 100 publications on Ukrainian dialectology and linguistic problems of learning Ukrainian as a foreign language.

According to the feedback of the listeners, the lecture was dynamic, rich in information and illustrations, and also proved that the study of the peculiarities of Ukrainian dialects is more timely than ever, because dialectology is a component of the history of the language and the people. The friendly atmosphere during the class contributed to a lively discussion and a positive mood.

We have been cooperating with the University of Lublin for more than 5 years. Graduates of our higher education institutions have repeatedly participated in scientific conferences organized both on the basis of UMKS and GIIIM.
