This week, the Department of Pedagogy and Teaching Methods joined the now much-needed work - information and educational activities on mine safety. In pursuance of the letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 22.04.2022 № 1 / 4408-22 each research and teaching staff of the department found time and opportunities to conduct additional interviews with applicants for higher education Horlov Institute of Foreign Languages State Higher Educational Institution "Donbass State Pedagogical University" .

What was talked about during such conversations? There are too many topics now: what are explosives and what they look like; what is prohibited and how to behave in case of detection of a suspicious object; what to pay attention to and where to call; on chemical and radiation hazards and the organization of evacuations, on the rules of safe behavior in emergencies that may be caused by war. And although all this was considered by first-year students when studying the discipline "Life Safety" - it will never be superfluous to remember it all again. It is better to know, but never have practice in this material.
