Greetings from the Dnieper

Greetings from the Dnieper

Alina Kalinkina, a student of group 304, tells us about her volunteer activities.

"We left Bakhmut on March 14. Stopped in the Dnieper.

I am the administrator of the group "Bakhmut in touch" in the Telegram. There I posted information about any help to those who need medicine, housing, basic necessities.

At that time, shops with household chemicals, children's shops, and pharmacies were closed in Bakhmut. It was impossible to buy ordinary baby diapers, personal hygiene items, Validol, Citramon.

While Nova Poshta was working, I bought all kinds of medicines, asthma medications, personal hygiene items, diapers, etc. in the Dnieper and sent them by mail.

When the post office closed, I found acquaintances who traveled daily on the flight Bakhmut - Dnipro - Bakhmut, and through them passed the medicine, paid for delivery yourself. Sometimes delivery cost UAH 500.

Yes, 2 weeks ago I managed to save a dog that caught a tick.

Now the post office has started working and I am resuming the supply of medicines.

I also found realtors, groups, chats on various social networks, where I looked for housing for people from Donetsk and Luhansk regions who approached me. Some families stayed in our house and we found housing for them in our village. "

It is very nice that our students have a sincere heart and a good soul. May your kindness, Alino, return to you a hundredfold. We wish you inexhaustible energy, health and peace!
