On April 10, 2019, teachers, young scientists and students attended a scientific-practical seminar "Specifics of publishing articles in periodicals indexed in international scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science." Leaders of the scientific meeting - Doctor of Philology, Professor of Linguistics and Russian Language Gabidullina Alla Rashativna and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of Psychology and Pedagogy Nestoruk Natalia Anatoliyivna - consistently and in detail shared their experience of publishing scientific papers of this type. and abstracts, the most authoritative of which are Scopus and Web of Science, substantiated the content of the basic concepts of the latter (author ID, h-index, impact-factor, DOI, etc.). During the discussion, a list of Ukrainian journals in the fields of "linguistics", "psychology," pedagogy "," education "indexed in Scopus and Web of Science was presented to colleagues and young researchers, with a clear demonstration of a step-by-step algorithm for writing an article before publishing it. one of the periodicals.

At the end of the seminar, participants stressed the need for constant monitoring of publications in Scopus and Web of Science and the availability of their own articles in the latter, which will certainly help generate new scientific ideas and research opportunities, further cooperation with leading researchers and significantly improve performance. -research activities of our higher education institution by the number of scientific publications.
