For the 75th anniversary of the Horliv Institute of Foreign Languages, a creative meeting was held in the Kyiv house-museum of the poet Maksym Tadeyovych Rylsky with the writer, member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, author of seven poetry collections, Nataliya KOVALSKA from Horliv. This was already the fifth event with the participation of members of the Donetsk regional organization of the NSPU at the Museum.
"Donetsk Steppe" - this is the name Nataliya Kovalska gave to her meeting in "Author's Readings". Poetry from different years was heard, there were many poems from 2024 that have not yet been published. So, the listeners were at the premiere. Songs to the words of Natalia Kovalska (music by the composer Mykhailo Raskin) were performed. Every word echoed in the hearts of those present in the living room and in the Internet space.
Among the listeners were teachers and employees of our institute, students, members of the literary and artistic club LITERA, literary and creative intelligentsia, teachers and librarians of Donetsk region and Kyiv region. The variety of themes of Natalia Kovalska's poems is united by an invincible love for life and gratitude to the defenders of the country for their courage and heroism. The soldiers who gave their lives for Ukraine were honored with a moment of silence...
The author's books, which were saved from Bakhmut, were bought at a free price, and almost two thousand hryvnias have already been sent to the needs of our defenders.
At the end of the meeting, the scientists of the Museum gave the residents of Inazuz a tour of the house of the outstanding poet Maksym Rylskyi.
During the conversation, it became obvious about the need for poetic meetings, because they inspire, motivate for further work and, ultimately, support positive thinking.
